ABOUT PURE SAVAGE

 

Pure Savage came together at 2011’s Coronation Double Century (CDC). The name was going to be Team Smiles, but when the person who proposed the name was dropping during a training ride because the team kept going out of Zone 2, the name Pure Savage was born.

Adie Watermeyer got the original Pure Savage CDC team together and organised their kit. He made up a sponsor to make them look the part, #OnFireMarketing. They now have two CDC teams, with about 50 riders riding in Pure Savage Kit regularly.
