The 2019 edition of Tour de Bootlegger is taking place on the final day of the Tour de France, 28 July 2019. We have therefore split our tour into 3 stages, The South, The North and the Atlantic Seaboard. Starting at 7:30 at the Bootlegger in Dreyer Street, Claremont.
Each stage will have a Bootlegger Coffee and banana bread stop along the way and a support vehicle with spare wheels and bottles to keep the tour on track throughout the day. The average speed will be an easy 29km/h on mostly flat roads.
Each stage will end at the same location that the next stage starts and there will be a 10 minute break between stages. The Stage will not start before the time of the Strava event, but may start after if there were any unforeseen issues on the day. The total distance is 180km if you complete all 3 stages!
